Volunteers for Re-Cycle East
We have volunteers of all ages and experience - why not join them?
What do volunteers do?

John, a regular volunteer, in our well-equipped warehouse in Colchester
Some volunteers come along each week others only from time to time.
They:
-
help us prepare bikes for shipping – removing pedals and turning handlebars
-
strip parts off old bikes
-
help us load containers
-
refurbish bikes to help raise funds for shipping.
Experience is not necessary - training can be given.
Loading containers for shipping
Volunteers are needed to help load containers with bikes for shipping
to Africa.
-
This usually happens once a month on a Saturday.
-
It is not all hard work and lunch is provided.
-
Tea makers are also welcome!
-
If you have some spare time and would like to come along occasionally, we can provide training as well as new friends and a cup of tea. Please ring Derek at the Colchester office (Tel: 0845 4580 852 or 01206 863111).
Whatever way you choose to help us, it will be a valuable contribution towards
ensuring that Re-Cycle keeps re-homing all those unwanted bikes.
Thank you.
